Horse racing is a sport that has been practised for a long long time. It is a sport which is widely associated with gambling. Horse racing is a typical sport, which is widely watched and followed by almost all the nations of the world. The world wide market on gambling associate with horse racing has accounted for about 115 billion US dollars. Generally there are three types of horse racing followed all over the world.
They are:
1)steeplechasing
2)harness racing and
3)flat racing.
Chariot racing was very popular among the ancient Romans and Greeks. The chariot racing proved to bee very dangerous for the drivers ad also for the horses.
Also, it was the major sport event in the ancient Olympic games. The training to these race horses were given, depending on the race length. The performance of the horse would vary widely on the basis of age, genetics, training given and the skeletal soundness.
